Day 55 - Juice Diets Are Truly Effective!

Good morning, good evening, and goodnight! as Jim Carrey would say.

Tim here with my Juice Fasting progress report update for Day 55.

Only one more day to go after my juice diets today. So tomorrow is going to be my last liquid diet weight loss, juice diet weight loss day and juice fasting. Looking forward to that actually! I am starting to think obviously I have been doing this for quite a number of days now, transitioning. Fruit and green smoothies is probably going to be what I am starting with. That will be on Tuesday, because it is Sunday over here in Australia.

It is actually Father's Day today. So I am going to take it quite easy today. I'm not going to do a lot. I have a couple of adult children, and Louise has got a couple of younger children who are nearly adult (17 and 15). So I hope to catch up with all of those today.

Day 44 - Veggie Juice Diet - Getting More Results

Hi, Tim here with my Day 44 update.

I am actually doing this outside today. I am actually halfway on my walk. Halfway through my juice fasting to finishing it.

So I thought I would stop briefly and just have a quick chat.

Today I have lost: (I couldn't say how much I have lost, so I will put it on the screen) 0.3 kg (2/3's of a pound).

I haven't actually weighed myself yet.

Overall that is now a total of: 18.9 Kg, 41 and 2/3's pounds.

Yes, that much, that's good isn't it!

And of course, I now weigh a total of: 92.5 kgs (204 pounds)

So anyway, Day 44, only 12 days to go now until my juice fast is over. I am still feeling good, happy and pumped. I am actually filming this on my iPhone 4, so excuse the cars going by in the background.


But look everything is still really on track with my veggie juice diet, and doing well.

Day 36 - Getting The Most Out Of Your Commercial Juicer

Hello everyone,

Tim here with my Day 36 update for my juice fast. Everything is still going well. I have actually lost 0.3 kg, which is about 2/3's of a pound, about, I think it is 0.66 of one pound.

So, overall in my juice fast plan so far I have lost now a total of 16.3 kg, which is just a fraction under 36 pounds.

So, yeah, as I said, everything is going well. Not a lot to report today.


One interesting thing: when I was making my breakfast juice today, I decided to go just for fruit only. Now it has been quite some time since I have had "fruit only" with my juices using my commercial juicer, because pretty well in all my juices I have been juicing vegetables, including celery, some spinach as a minimum. And sometimes some cucumber as well. But this time I decided to go for fruit only.

Day 29 - My Easy Diet Plan Update

Hi Tim here with my Day 29 update.

Yes, I'm still on my juice fast easy diet plan. For those of you who haven't seen any of my previous videos, each day I have been on my juice fast, I have uploaded a video letting you know how much weight I have lost, and my overall progress, and even things like how I have felt in a particular day, challenges and so on and so forth.


So if you haven't watched any of my previous videos about my easy diet plan, then I suggest you do that, because this is perfect. What I am trying to do is make this really easy for someone who is starting a juice fast. I'm identifying all the things that you'll find hard and easy along the way. You'll get to know how you'll feel doing the same type of juice fast, if you're considering doing one.

Detox Diet Plan Update For Day 18

Hello, Tim here with my detox diet plan update!

This is Day 18, and I am still on track, doing quite well. I lost .5 of a kilogram since yesterday, which is about 1.1 pound. So, overall my weight loss is 9.5 kilograms, which is 21 pounds. And that is in 17 days, because today is the start of the 18th day as I am filming this.

I have to say vegetable drinks: I am starting to get into those a lot more now. I am finding that I think I need to do that. I think what has happened is that I have had a bit of a slow down in my weight loss in the last probably two or three days. I think that is caused by having too much fruit and not enough vegetables. So if you are on this juice fast, juice diet, I think you need to have more of a component of vegetables.


So, yes, I have taken the plunge everybody, you will be pleased to know, and I am using celery! I actually used celery this morning in my drink. I am using a lot more spinach. I am using broccoli as well. But this morning I just had spinach and celery with my fruit drink. And I am cutting down on fruits like watermelon and I am actually going more to grapefruit, which I know is really good for you. Also lemon, I am using more lemon, and I am also using lime. So all of those alkalis - the body - and they are actually quite good forou. So I am using more of those.

Juice Fasting Plan Starts - Day 1

Hi guys,

Tim Buchalka is my name, and this is Day 1 of my 56 day challenge.

I have decided that enough is enough. I have been overweight pretty well all my adult life.and look, there has always been an excuse. There has always been a reason. It is too hard, I am addicted to sugar. I just like sweet foods too much. And the years have rolled on and I am now 47 and I realise I have been overweight for 30 years.

As a young kid, as a young bloke when I was in my teens, early teens 13, 14,15, I didn't really have much of a weight problem. But as I moved into adulthood, yes, the weight started stacking on. And why? Well, no real surprises. Today's food, processed food. I love ice cream, chocolate, chips, all those types of things. All those man-made type foods. And I have piled on the kilos. I say kilos, but for you US folks, I have piled on the pounds.

I am currently 111 1/2 kg which is about 246 pounds, if I can do my calculations correctly. Enough is enough. I have had a gutful, which is an Australian saying meaning I have had enough. I am not going to put up with this any more. I have decided to take a 56 day challenge which is basically eight weeks, you know 8x7 is 56, again if my maths is correct.

And for eight weeks I'm going to survive on nothing but juice. Now, when I say juice, we are not talking about the supermarket variety, you know the grocer type variety. We are talking about using a juicer, using a machine, and getting fresh fruit and vegetables, putting that all into a machine, and drinking that each day.
